A community leader, Mr. Segun Omosunmonu, has appealed to the political leaders in Ogun West to embrace peace in their quest to produce the next governor of Ogun State.
Omosunmonu said that the Ogun West political leaders should allow God to intervene in the matter regarding the zone’s candidate for the 2019 governorship election in the state.
He spoke against the backdrop of the disagreement raging among the politicians in Ogun West over the 2019 governorship election in the state.
The community leader advised the political leaders from Ogun West to organise a round table conference to resolve the issues amicably so that Ogun West would be able to field a strong and vibrant consensus candidate for the governorship position in the state.
He noted that none of all aspirants could be denied the right to contest the number political office in the state.
Omosunmonu, therefore, warned all the political leaders to be cautious of what they say and avoid anything that could tamper with the peace and unity that Ogun West had been known for.
He also called on all the indigenes of Ogun West to see themselves as one, irrespective of their different political affiliations.
