Turkish Super Lig club, Bursaspor, has struck a deal with Portuguese club, Porto over
Nigerian player, Mikel Agu.
The international midfielder has joined The Green Crocodiles on a season-long loan.
Mikel Agu trained for the first time with his new teammates on Tuesday, and could make his
competitive debut for his new employer when they take on Musa Mohammed’s İstanbul Başakşehir
F.K. on Friday.
A product of BJ Foundation, which produced the likes of Victor Moses, Isaac Success and
Elderson Echiejile, Mikel previously enjoyed loan spells with Club Brugge and Vitória
Setúbal.
The 24-year-old has appeared once for the Super Eagles in a sanctioned match against Togo in
Paris two months ago.
