It is certainly no longer news to find people, especially popular individuals, taking on each other via various social media pages. The most recent of such happenings that attracted attention was the outburst of Bayelsa-born singer, Timaya, who took on rapper, Idris Abdukareem, calling him names, following a statement credited to the latter.
Hardly had the internet hostility subsided that a set of other popular entertainers took on one another. Although, what the bone of contention is could not be ascertained at press time, the beef is already attracting attention and it does not appear there’s an end in sight to the hostility. Emma, who came under the spotlight through his exploits on Instagram, had come online in a video to accuse Nedu, an instagram star cum Wazobia FM presenter, of a misdeed he did not mention. As reactions of all sorts greeted the action, Nedu, through his own social media page, responded by calling his accuser a “mere rant.” He challenged him to confront him physically to carry out his threat, if he had the confidence. A reliable source informed that well-meaning entertainers had since swung into action to bring the raging issue under control. Meanwhile, some social media users are of the opinion that the duo may actually want to boost their popularity by staging a fight, like Paul and Peter, otherwise known as P-Square, were recently accused of doing.
