Artistes should stop flaunting naked women in videos – Ebele The Flutist

Following Falz recent criticism of artistes who glorify fraud with their music, Ebele The Flutist has also called out artistes who are in the habit of displaying naked women in their music videos.
Ebele, who recently bagged an award for her contribution to society, said every artiste has a duty to inspire and educate the public. According to her, many talented musicians are coming up every day but there is need for artistes to make good music.
She stated that no one says one must be a gospel musician, but you can always make music that will inspire people positively.
She said, “For instance, people still love Majek Fashek because his music has affected lives, but he is not a gospel music. Look at Onyeka Onwenu too. Musicians should not be displaying naked women on screen because it does not speak well.
“There is nothing wrong with singing about love, but it is wrong when you sing about love and display naked women. When an artiste says he or she is doing what people want, it is a lie. We set the pace for people to follow. It is what we do that people like and follow. Even if the fans like bad things, we should try to change their mindset.”
Speaking on her recent award, the ‘Inspirational Women’s Award,’ she said it was given to selected women that were doing well in entertainment and in the society as a whole.
She explained that she has been able to stay away from scandals and controversies because she chooses a life of integrity. “Anything that is contaminating, I don’t go near it. Though I do things with secular artistes, I maintain good balance. It is a matter of choice, choosing how you want to live. I choose the place I go too; I go to parties but not regularly.”
