Buhari needs Nigerians’ prayers to deliver- Bode George

A former deputy national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Bode George, has said that President Muhammadu Buhari required the prayers of all Nigerians for his administration to succeed.

George stated this in a chat with our correspondent in Ile-Ife, Osun State, during the first year remembrance service of the late Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuade, at st Paul’s Anglican Church, Ile-Ife.

The PDP chieftain said President Buhari had a lot of national responsibilities to shoulder and would need more prayers from Nigerians for his tenure to be successful.

“He (Buhari) needs a lot of prayers and Nigerins need to help him with that for him to perform better,”George said.

Also speaking, a member of the National Assembly representing Ife/Ijesa, Senator Babajide Omoworare, described the late Ooni as an achiever.

On his removal as Chairman, Rules and Business Committee in the Senate, Omoworare said, “I don’t care.”
