Canada-based artiste, Ebedoz, challenges Olamide, wizkid?

Nigerian leading music artistes like Olamide, Wizkid and others seem to be facing more challenges in their line of profession, as more foreign-based Nigerians are returning home to storm the industry. One of them is Ebedoz, Canadian- based Nigerian, who will soon drop his new single, titled, ‘Omela Omela’.

Speaking with The Point, the Canadian born Nigerian explained that the song, which literally means ‘He has done it’ in his native Igbo dialect, exemplifies his
musical versatility.

“I am also a Nigerian. There is nothing other artistes can achieve that I cannot achieve. And for me to achieve this great feat, my brand of music is lyrically simple and melodious,” he said.

Meanwhile, music connoisseur, Hakeem, said, “The song ‘Omela Omela, is bound for the charts, just as other works from him such as ‘Gangsta Soldier, Baby Mama and Escape’ and other hits that have featured on films and TV shows abroad, including the famous ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’, in Canada and America.” He described the artiste as an out-of-the-box thinker, musician and composer, who has a style that has also been called Afro-centric, futuristic urban pop.

“It is no surprise that Ebedoz brims with unbridled confidence on his return to his homeland with this new praise song, Omela Omela, that is set to drop soon,” he said.
