Coal City dwellers, Enugu Rangers, are eager to pose a stronger challenge in the 2016 Nigeria Professional Football League campaign says Technical Director, Christian Chukwu.

The Flying Antelopes last won the NPFL title over 30 years ago and the club legend has declared that the oriental giants are targeting the league or FA Cup; which it last won in 1984 and 1983 respectively.

“Our target for the season at Rangers is to make sure we get back to where we rightly belong; if we don’t get the league or FA Cup, we must finish third for a continental ticket. This time, it’s a must and everything is being done that we win a spot for continental action next season,” Chukwu stated.

Rangers open the new season with an away game against Kano Pillars at the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano.
