The incident, it was gathered, spread to Ipata Market and Kankatu areas of Ilorin on Tuesday, where two persons were reportedly killed by suspected cultists.
The two incidents were said to have occurred around 4pm and 9pm on Tuesday, while the corpse of an 18-year-old boy reportedly killed at Kankatu area of the town was said to have been dumped beside Amule bridge.
It was gathered that the boy hailed from Osoogun Compound of the metropolis.
Checks revealed that police in the state evacuated the corpse and dumped it in an undisclosed hospital morgue in the town.

The suspected cultists were said to have struck between 10 and 11am, snuffing life out of their victim.
It was gathered that the deceased was preparing to go to his place of work when he met his untimely death.
When contacted, the spokesperson for the state Police Command, Ajayi Okasanmi, confirmed the incident at Gaa-Akanbi, adding that he was yet to get information regarding the other incidents in the metropolis.
He promised to call the DPOs of the areas in question for confirmation.
