Delta lawmaker promises democracy dividends

A member of the Delta State House of Assembly representing Ethiope East Constituency, Hon. Evance Ochuko Ivwurie, has reiterated his resolve to deliver the dividends of democracy to his people.

Ivwurie assured that before the end of his tenure, he would strive to attract more development to his constituency.

The lawmaker made this promise in Agbon, Ethiope East Local Government area, when the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, HRM OgurimeRime, Ukor’i 1, reaffirmed the conferment of the chieftaincy title of the Eni’Ofua’fo of Agbon Kingdom on him.

Ivwurie, who was conferred with the chieftaincy title of Ohovwore of Eku in 2005 and the Eni’Ofua’Fo of Agbon Kingdom in 2006 by the late Ogurime-Rime, Okpara 1, said he was happy that the titles had been reaffirmed by the incumbent monarch.

The Delta lawmaker, therefore, assured that he was more ready to ensure that the dividends of democracy trickled down to his people.
