The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Monday, March 13, arraigned one Iwuala Ikechukwu Brown before Justice J. O. Oyefeso of the Lagos State High Court sitting in Ikeja, Lagos on a one- count charge bordering on obtaining by false pretence to the tune of $3,650.

The count reads, “That you, Iwuala Ikechukwu Brown, between August, 2013 and November 23, 2013 at Lagos within the Ikeja Judicial Division, with intent to defraud, did obtain the gross sum of $3,650 from Thomas Noblin of the United States of America, by falsely representing that you are David Walter of Oregon, United States of America, which representation you knew to be false.”
