Enugu Rangers are holding on to the local league title celebration until the successful topflight clash against El Kanemi Warriors this weekend. The Flying Antelopes will host the Maiduguri Warriors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu.
The Coal City side are within a touching distance of their seventh league title after a superb 2-1 win at newcomers, Ikorodu United in Abeokuta last Sunday.
Technical Adviser, Christian Chukwu, said although the general consensus is that Rangers have won the league crown, they want to play safe by seeing off the last day match against the Maiduguri Warriors.
Rangers are at the top-flight summit on 60 points, three ahead of their closest challengers, Rivers United with a game to close the chapter on the 2015/16 NPFL season.
