Fashion is a matter of choice – Chinwo

As far as Mercy Nnenda Chinwo, popularly known as ‘Mercinda,’ is concerned, fashion is a value of the impression you create about yourself.

The winner of 2012 Etisalat Nigerian Idol reality show said that everyone in his or her own right is fashionable, just that being in the public eye puts the person on the spot more than every other person.

“I am a very creative dresser, so far as I’m decently dressed, and what I wear fits me and I’m also decently dressed at the same time,” she stated.

An indigene of Ikwere in Rivers State, Chinwo declared that her fashion is a matter of choice, which was determined mostly by her mood or the event she was going for, and when it comes to her choice of clothing, she revealed that she wears both native and western wears, but of recent, she has been blending both.

As regards her skin care routine, the pretty vocalist revealed that she “loves to take care of my skin, using natural products such as aloe vera, coconut oil and moisturisers, as prescribe by my skin care spcialist.”

I was shy at first, but I eventually performed, and the movie came out successful,” she stated, revealing that she hoped to go into full time acting in the future.

The graduate of Linguistics from the University of Port Harcourt revealed that she started her music career very early as a chorister in the church, before coming into limelight with the support of her parents for her career.
