FG approves 3 Army secondary schools for Zamfara

The Federal Government is to establish three Army secondary schools in Zamfara State.
The Minister of Defence, Alhaji Mansur Dan’Ali, who disclosed this, listed the proposed schools as Army Day secondary school in Gusau( for female), Air Force Girls Secondary School in Kaura-Namoda and Army Secondary School in Talata-Mafara (boarding).

The Minister, who visited Zamafra State for the Integrated Medical Outreach Programme for military and civilian staff of 1 Base Ammunition Depot Gusau, also, said the government would also establish an AirForce station in Gusau with a view to checkmating the activities of cattle rustlers.

According to him, the Federal Government would not condone such barbaric acts of armed banditry in the state without taking proactive measure against the menace.

Dan’Ali, however, said that his ministry had concluded arrangement for the deployment of troops to Zamfara State as part of the plans to have a full-fledged brigade command barrack in the state.

“I want to assure the people of Zamfara State that very soon the One Base Ammunition Depot, Gusau will be upgraded to Brigade Command Barrack, Gusau, Zamfara State”. He added
He then appealed to Nigerians to always complement Federal Government’s efforts in ensuring positive development in all sectors of the economy.
