Super Eagles Vice-Captain and Lazio midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has highlighted the gains of married life less than two weeks after quitting bachelorhood during the last days of 2015.

The Nigerian international midfielder tied the knot with his fiancée Sandra Ogunsuyi, at the marriage registry in Ikoyi, Lagos on December 29, 2015 in a private ceremony.

Among the few guests that joined the Italy-based midfielder and his 23-year-old bride included former Super Eagles striker, Ayodele Makinwa; the groom’s brother, Thompson Onazi, alongside close friend, Ifada Ighodalo, among others.

“I thank God for such a special day. Getting married is a milestone in the life of a man; to get married to a woman who you love and who loves you makes it even more special,” Onazi said in a brief chat.

At the registry ceremony, the bridegroom opted for black suit with a matching bow tie while Sandra preferred a low-cut white lace gown with a matching hat.

The newlyweds soon after signing the dotted lines, posed for photographs before zooming out of the premises of the marriage registry in Ikoyi.
