I can no longer tolerate foul odour from my husband’s shoes

An Igando, Lagos, Grade II Customary Court has ended the five-year marriage between Ejembi Tony and Rachael, over the latter’s inability to cope with the foul smell always oozing from her husband’s shoes.
Rachel had filed for divorce before the court, claiming that her husband’s shoes used to smell badly whenever he pulled them off.
Having endured the ordeal for five years without any solution in sight, Rachael opted out of the union that produced three kids.
”My lord, his shoes smell like a decomposed meat. The offensive odour often made me to almost throw up. He knows that I have tried for him to no avail,” she told the court.
