Yoruba indigenous actor and the Special Adviser to the Kwara State Governor on Culture and Tourism, Femi Adebayo, has said that he got married quietly to protect the privacy of his wife.
The actor, who tied the knot with an air hostess Omotayo Sanusi at a private event on Saturday, October 8, only had in attendance immediate family members and very close friends.
Celebrity stylist and the actor’s business manager, Biodun Adegoke, in a statement, quoted the actor to have said he decided to marry without the expected funfare, in order to protect his wife’s privacy.
Adebayo explained, “The decision is best for us, as I have been on the lane before and my wife has never been. I have to protect her privacy at all cost.
“Please we pray for the understanding of our friends and my beloved loyal fans, I appreciate you and please your prayers and support is all we need.”
He was fomerly married to Khadijat, the mother of his 3 children. The marriage, however, was short-lived as it ended 8 years ago.
