Kiss Daniel set to rule his own world

Sometimes back, a story hit town that gangling and handsome wave-making youthful singer, who is popularly known as Kiss Daniel, and the founder of the record label on which he’s signed, G-Worlwide, Emperor Geezy, were having a rift over issue that was alleged to be bearing on money. Kiss Daniel, however, came out to dispel the tale.
The same tale again reared its head recently and this time, none of the two parties involved has denied that there is crack in their working relationship. Far beyond what could be amended, as Daniel has finally decided to take his musical destiny in his own hands by setting up his own record label that will take care of his musical activities. Daniel has informed that his own label, FLY BOY I.N.C, will soon take off. .
The singer signed to G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2013 and went on to release hit singles such as ‘Woju’, ‘Laye’, ‘Good Time’, and ‘Mama’. His debut album ‘New Era’ released in 2016 was one of the best albums of the year.
The success of the album led to Kiss Daniel winning three awards at the 2016 Headies, ‘Hip Hop World Revelation’, ‘Best R&B/Pop album’ and ‘Album of the Year’.
Kiss Daniel’s relationship with his label G-Worldwide Entertainment led by Festus Ehimare, popularly known as Emperor Geezy, raised a few eyebrows.
Many people believed that the no-collaboration policy of the label was hurting Kiss Daniel. His debut album featured no guest act outside his label. Only Sugar Boy was in the album. The same policy applied to Sugar Boy who only featured Kiss Daniel in his album.
There have also been whispers of the label exerting too much control on Kiss Daniel, thereby stifling his growth and influence in the music scene.
