He also stated that he is not the first person to taste fame and he will certainly not be the last. According to him, the most important thing is that when you go back to your bedroom, you are happy with yourself.

“I feel that once you don’t have happiness within you, you cannot share it with other people. It is what you have that you give. So, I try to make myself happy. I try to keep things real and I still hang out with my dear ones.”

Raised in Egbeda area of Lagos state, the musician said attending the University of Lagos exposed him a lot and taught him things outside the classroom. In spite of coming from a Christian home, he admitted that his parents didn’t have issues with him pursuing a music career.

“My parents were supportive from the beginning. When I was waiting for admission, my mum asked what I wanted to do. I told her music production and she made inquiry of how I could start learning it. The next day, my name came out on the admission list and I had to choose between school and music production.”
