Moses inconsistent, erratic in past few years, says Neville

Former Manchester United FC defender, Gary Neville has described Nigeria’s Victor Moses as inconsistent and erratic in the past few years, but who has now found his bearing with Chelsea FC. Neville singled out Moses for special praise following his recent resurgence at the Stamford Bridge. “He is a big bonus in these last few years.
He was inconsistent and erratic. He didn’t have the quality at right back or as a right winger, but as a right wing-back, he has been in fantastic form down that side. He has defended really well. He is strong one-on-one.
He is good going forward. He has got the energy as well,” Neville told Sky Sports. Chelsea are in fourth place in the Premier League table and a point adrift of leaders Manchester City. He admitted that he has been impressed with Moses’ transformation under Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte.
The Nigerian international has been a regular in the Blues line-up in recent weeks, after being sent out on a series of loans to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United in the past number of seasons. Moses has scored two goals a n d has made one assist in nine Premier League appearances in the 2016- 2017 season so far. The former Crystal Palace midfielder has been used in a wing- back role under Conte in re- cent weeks, a tactical move that has paid dividends.
Moses scored Chelsea’s third goal in a 3-0 win against defending champions, Leicester City, before he teed up Eden Hazard for his goal in the West London side’s 2-0 win at Southampton on Sunday evening.
