‘My husband defaecates in my cooking pot when drunk’

An angry housewife, Mrs. Oluwakele Ogundele, has divorced her husband of ten years for defecating in her cooking pots whenever he’s drunk.
Oluwakele had told an Agege Customary Court that she could no longer cope with her husband, Oluwafemi Ogundele, who had become a drunk and would lose his senses after taking some bottles of beer.
“He gets drunk most of the time. It is as if beer is his life-support as he drinks like fish,” she said.
Oluwakele added that her husband had formed the habit of getting drunk and misbehaving, especially at weekends.
According to her, she could no longer tolerate a man who had no respect for the marriage institution.
Oluwakele, therefore, prayed the court to separate them.
Her husband, Oluwafemi, was not in court when the matter came up for hearing. The matter was equally adjourned with a view to saving the couple’s 10-yearold marriage.
