Nigerians yearn for PDP’s return to power – Suswam

A former Governor of Benue State, Mr. Gabriel Suswam, has said that Nigerians are now eager to vote out the ruling All Progressives Congress because of the hardship they have been experiencing.
According to Suswam, the Nigerian people are now yearning for the return of the Peoples Democratic Party to government at all levels.
He stressed that the people could no longer bear the hardships that the current APC-controlled government at the centre had allegedly foisted on them.
The former governor, who was in Osogbo to chair the Osun State Ward Congress Committee of the PDP, told our correspondent that he was optimistic that the PDP would take over the reins of governance from the APC in all the states of the Federation in the next general elections.
Specifically, Suswam expressed confidence that, in the September 2018 Osun governorship poll, the PDP would floor the ruling APC with a wide margin.
He further affirmed that the party would outsmart every other political party in the state in the forthcoming elections.
The former governor said, “The foundation of PDP in Osun State has already been laid; I thank God we have laid a solid foundation. PDP will be back to life in Osun State. We will win next year’s governorship election.
“It’s already obvious to Nigerians that APC has nothing to offer them and this is why they want us (PDP) back. The hardship citizens of this country have been plunged into by the APC is too much to bear. PDP will bring succour to Nigerians.”
