No retreat, no surrender – Ichull

Nasarawa United midfielder, Lordson Ichull, has disclosed that he will never give up until his side gets to the top of the table this season. He said he was still celebrating his side’s 2-1 victory over Wikki Tourists in the Nigerian League last week in Lafia.
The home team drew the first blood in the 28th minute through Abdullahi Alhassan and led the game until the 86th minute when Esosa Igbinoba leveled up for the Solid Miners through a well taken free-kick.
Kadir Aminu scored the winning goal for the home side in the last minute of the game to give Coach Kabiru Dogo’s men all three points, and Ichull believes the victory is in line with their continental ticket target set at the beginning of the season.
“It seemed over when the time was 86 minutes, but I said to myself it was not over and I kept faith alive. Then the first goal came from a freekick which was well taken by Esosa,” he said. “Later again in the three minutes added time, a long kick came from the defence to me in the attack. I passed the ball to Aminu who converted to score the winner. “Our target to pick a continental ticket is still very possible and we will continue to fight until the last game,” Ichull said.
