The Nigerian Sports Award has praised the tenacity and courage displayed by the nation’s Paralympic team in Rio, Brazil, which was responsible for their outstanding performance by wining twelve medals to emerge top African team at the competition.
Chairman, NSA panel, Mr. Ikeddy Isiguzo, said the Paralympic team deserves all applauds and accolades for winning eight gold, two silver & two bronze, breaking world records and setting new ones; thereby repeating the same laudable feat it achieved at the London Olympics in 2012.
