Oritse Femi’s white wedding holds November 25

Earlier this year, it was rumoured that musician Oritse Femi had a private wedding, secretly.
The singer, in a chat with The Point, has revealed that he only went to the registry with his heartthrob. He added that the white wedding ceremony would come up on November 25 in Lagos.
“My marriage is November 25 and we’ve concluded all plans. The venue is Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos. Since I see myself as a man of the people, I chose to have my wedding in Nigeria. Though it will be strictly by invitation, I made plans for 2,000 people. The management of Landmark also gave me additional space for 1,000 people because they feel I have too much crowd,” he said.
He explained that he deliberately kept the court wedding secret because there were a lot of controversies surrounding him then and his wife wanted it that way, too.
“During the period of my court wedding, controversies were everywhere. My wife (Nabila Fash) is a private person and I also realised that I needed to work on my management and restructure myself. I also understand at times that when you make noise about marriage, it could backfire. It was my idea, too, to make it private and when I told her, too, she agreed. I met her at a period I wanted privacy,” he said.
