Osinbajo, Aregbesola, Ajimobi charge youths on hard work, persistence

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo; Osun State Governor, Mr. Rauf Aregbesola; his Oyo counterpart, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, on Tuesday, asked Nigerian youths to be hardworking and avoid relying on white-collar jobs for survival.
They gave this charge in their separate remarks at the Southwest Regional Youth Summit held in Osogbo.
According to Osinbajo, lack of integrity, core values and courage were responsible for the challenges the nation is facing.
He added that the country might not make any headway until corruption had been eradicated.
The vice president said about 70 per cent of success should have been achieved by the current administration of President Muhammadu Buhari if corruption had been eradicated.
Osinbajo, therefore, urged youths not to he discouraged or give up amid the current economic woes bedeviling the country, asking them to have hope that the future would be better.
“70 percent of success should have been achieved, if corruption had been eradicated. What endures forever is courage and persistence. You (youths) should have hope that tomorrowwill be  better while being hardworking,” Osinbajo said.
Governor Aregbesola on his part, urged youths to be hardworking and add values to their lives and society.
Addressing the youths, who thronged the venue, Aregbesola said, “Be hardworking, add values to your lives by being productive. Add value to yourselves and society.”
Speaking in the same vein, Governor Ajimobi advised the youths to be hardworking, and see it this panacea to life.
