Parents have been urged to always ensure they plan their family and give birth to the number of children they have the capacity to cater for.
The Family Planning Coordinator for Osun State, Mrs. Ololade Margret Abatan, gave this charge while speaking with our correspondent in Osogbo on the negative effect of the lack of family planning.
To the family planning expert, children who are not properly catered for by their parents populate armed robbery gangs and other criminal groups in the society.
She, therefore, called on parents to give birth to the number of children they could cope with financially.
Abatan said most children cursed their parents for giving birth to them without having the means to properly train them, stressing that the frustration such children were forced to experience usually led them to criminal activities.
