Newly appointed team coordinator for Ilorin-based Abubakar BUkola Saraki Football Club Under-15 team, Jimoh Bashir, has promised to assemble the best young players for the team.
The former Media Officer of the team, Bashir, promised to move round the country to scout for talents that will later develop to big stars in future.
ABS management also confirmed the appointment of Toyin Saheed as the Media Officer for the youth team. Taofeek Babatunde was appointed as Assistant Coach to Suleiman Toume.
A former player of the club, Yahaya Oniyangi, was also appointed as the Curator for the Under-15. Bashir said he was surprised by the assignment, but promised to give his best while discharging his duties.
“It is a break away from what I’m used to. I will do my best to justify the confidence reposed in me.
The confidence is a challenge. I will uphold the motto of the club which is: Discipline. I promise not to disappoint the club,” Bashir said.
ABS FC will square up with the Under-15 teams of Remo Stars, Sunshine Stars, 3SC and MFM FC in Osogbo in a LaLiga/League Management Company organised Under-15 competition.
