Why I’m different from other artistes – Twist Da Fireman

Former Kennis Music act and CEO of Next World music, Jaywon, has officially signed his first act, Desmond Idubamo Jonah, aka, Twist Da Fireman.

An Information Technology graduate of Sikkim Manipal University, India, Idubamo told The Point that he had prepared himself for the industry and the challenges ahead.

Also, the Bayelsa-born singer admitted that being signed on to Next World would increase his fan base and the quality of people working with him.

“I will be working with the right hand, especially with Jaywon being on board, and it makes it easier for good music to be released,” he said.

Twist Da Fireman officially came into the music industry in 2013, when he moved to Lagos. But he could only make little impact on the music scene in 2014 with a single, ‘Pause It.’

He has worked with some of the best hands in Ghana, including Trigmatic, Rachael and Kessi. He said, “I am a vocalist and my versatility makes me unique. I blend Dance-hall, Afrobeat, R&B and Reggae into one sound.”
