Zamfara set to recruit 250 health personnel

As part of the efforts to improve healthcare delivery service, the Zamfara State Government said it had concluded arrangement to recruit additional 250 health personnel.

The medical personnel, the government said, would include medical doctors and nurses.

Governor Abdulaziz Yari disclosed this at the Domestic Trade Fair Complex in Gusau, the state capital.

Yari noted that a technical committee had already been constituted by his administration to oversee the recruitment exercise with a view to ensuring that only qualified candidates would be recruited to serve in the state’s health facilities.

The governor pointed out that his administration had upgraded over 18 primary health centers in the state to general hospitals, which required adequate health personnel to man the facilities for the development of health care delivery in the state
