President Bola Tinubu is in his first meeting with Governors of the 36 states of the federation known as the Nigeria Governorsโ€™ Forum at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting commenced on Wednesday at about 12:36pm.

Some of the Governors present at the meeting included Governors of Zamfara, Kano, Taraba, Kogi, Ogun, Nasarawa, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Lagos, Rivers, Osun, Jigawa, Benue, Taraba, Delta, Enugu, Rivers, Oyo, Plateau, Kebbi, Abia, Imo, Bauchi.

The Deputy Governors of Edo and Niger are representing their states.

Those not sighted before the commencement of the meeting are Governors of Katsina, Kaduna, Gombe, Borno, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Ekiti, Ondo and Sokoto.

Also attending the meeting are Vice President Kashim Shettima; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.

President Tinubu had met with Governors of his ruling All Progressives Congress known as the Progressive Governorsโ€™ Forum, last Friday.
