The National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has declared his intention to contest for presidency in 2023.
He said he informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his decision at a meeting he held with him at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Monday.
Tinubu disclosed this to State House correspondents after his meeting with the President.
The former governor said that contesting the presidency was a life-long ambition, adding that he had the capacity to turn things around in the country.
