Aare Adams, a colossus in Yoruba culture promotion – Oba Faluade

A traditional ruler, the Olu of Ibogun-Balogun in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State, Oba (Dr.) Ifakayode Adeshina Faluade, has described the new Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland, Otunba Gani Adams, as a colossus in the fields of social engineering and promotion of Yoruba culture, who has made monumental impact on the Yoruba society and beyond.
Oba Faluade, who said this in a chat during the conferment of the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland title on Otunba Gani Adams, noted that Aare Adams was considered worthy of the honour by the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba (Dr.) Olayiwola Lamidi Adeyemi, in recognition of his exemplary leadership quality, excellent contributions to the development of Yorubaland and meritorious service to mankind in general.
He further stressed that Otuba Adams eminently earned the Aare Ona Kakanfo title, more so that he had all along been an ambassador of Yoruba culture, a dogged defendant of the Yoruba cause and an achiever in every ramification.

While sharing in Otunba Adams’ joy for the conferment of the title, the monarch explained that he was particularly happy to identify with his landmark achievements, advising that he should, however, continue to champion the cause of the Yoruba by promoting her culture and working assiduously for the unity and development of the race.

“I felicitate with our dear Aare Ona Kakanfo, share in his joy and I am particularly happy to identify with his landmark achievements, while I enjoin him to continue to champion the cause of the Yoruba, promote her culture and unity”, Oba Faluade said.
