Aisha Buhari unveils POWA skills acquisition centre in Abuja

First Lady, Aisha Buhari, on Wednesday, inaugurated the Police Officers Wives Association Skills Acquisition Centre in Abuja.

The centre, which was built under the leadership of the POWA President, Hajiya Hajara Baba, is meant to cater for the entrepreneurial needs of the police family.

This was made known in a post shared on the Nigeria Police Force Facebook page on Thursday.

The photos were captioned, “#PhotoNews: Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, accompanied by Her Excellency, Chioma Uzodimma, inaugurated the POWA Skills Acquisition Centre in Abuja on Wednesday.

“The centre was built under the leadership of the POWA President, Hajiya Hajara Usman Alkali Baba.

“The occasion was graced by the Minister of Police Affairs, Alhaji Maigari Dingyadi; Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, CFR; Chairman PSC, Dr. Solomon Arase; IGP (retd), members of the Force Management Team, among others.”
