Ajimobi condoles with Prophet Abiara on wife’s death

Oyo State Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has described the death of Prophetess Christiana Abiara, wife of the General Evangelist, Christ Apostolic Church, Worldwide, Prophet Kayode Abiara, as a great loss to the church and the entire Christendom.
He stated this during a condolence visit to the prophet at his residence, in Ibadan, on Tuesday, in company with the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Olalekan Alli; Head of Service, Mr. Soji Eniade, and other government officials.
The governor, who was represented by his Deputy, Chief Alake Adeyemo, said that the deceased woman of God lived a live worthy of emulation.
He added that her support for her husband and contribution to the growth and stability of the C.A.C. would continue to linger in the heart of family members and the church in general.
Ajimobi reminded the bereaved family that death was a compulsory debt that every mortal must pay, stressing that God gives and takes life at His appointed time.
The governor said, “God takes away the righteous before the evil day, but we take solace in the fact that mama is resting in the bosom of the Lord.

“I’m here on behalf of the government and the people of Oyo State to condole with you. We pray for the repose of her soul and we also pray that God gives you the strength to bear this irreparable loss.”
In his response, the prophet commended the governor for his humility and profound love for the Abiara family and the CAC congregation.
Also, one of the deceased’s daughters, Mrs. Deborah Omokhare, thanked the government officials for the visit and their words of comfort.
She described her parents as loving and caring, disclosing that his father supported her late mother in all her endeavours, especially when she took ill, till she left the family to be with the Lord.

Omokhare said that the lifestyle of her parents was a great lesson for the children to emulate.
