The Point has learnt that the former governors of Ogun and Osun States, Olusegun Osoba and Bisi Akande are conveying a meeting of presidential aspirants in South West in Lagos.
According to sources, the meeting is expected to hold on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Lagos Flag House.
Those expected to attend the meeting include Bola Tinubu, the Vice President,Yemi Osinbajo, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and the Senate Deputy Leader, Ajayi Boroface.
The Point gathered that Osoba who is presently in Paris, France, confirmed the meeting on Tuesday afternoon
He was quoted as saying that the meeting was designed to bring unity in yorubaland.
He said the APC governors will also attend the meeting and other stakeholders.
