‘Alignment’ unveils plan to liberate women and girl child from domestic violence

Alignment, a not-for-profit Non Governmental Organisation(NGO), has expressed its willingness to liberate Women and [Girl] Children from the menace of Domestic violence in our societies. The Cordinator of Alignment, Mr OmoKehinde Meseorisa, disclosed this at a media parley with our correspondent while on his way to Ghana.

He declared that the sole aim of the NGO  had always been to create an avenue or medium for women and children [Girl child] to protect themselves through martial arts and other simple key mental procedures.
 
Mr OmoKehinde says he uses the skills and training gathered from his over 10 years of martial arts training to open up the  individuals to the powers within and direction in getting to it. “I’m happy to interact with all ages and sizes.”

He reiterated his believe in the human interaction, “when it matters on the level of flight or fight, I teach on how one can do either or both effectively and efficiently.

He says low self esteem is key amongst the factors that aids vulnerabilities in women and the girl child. OmoKehinde stressed that with his interactions in Nigeria and Ghana and some little experience in the United Kingdom, people show significant improvement in self discipline, confidence and thought management, and a better concept of themselves in conflict management.

He stated further “that all over the world,  force recognises force; and physical and mental force are some of the things we humans use to help or attack each other”. That is why he hopes to establish in Ghana and Nigeria and other parts of the world to run and provide, trainings to help elevate the mental, emotional and physical well-being of our women and children who are usually at the receiving of man’s aggression and anger when such women or girl-child are confronted in volatile and violent situation.
