There have been speculations that former coach of the Super eagles, Shuaibu Amodu may be return as the head coach of the national team as Sunday Oliseh, a former captain of the team resigned as coach of the team.
Oliseh’s resignation, which came after the Nigeria Football Federation directed the coach to start reporting to Amodu Oliseh himself confirmed the development on his Twitter page, saying: “Due to contract violations, lack of support, unpaid wages, benefits to my players, assistant coaches and myself, I resign as Super Eagles chief coach. “I feel fortunate, blessed and eternally grateful for having had the honour to play, captain and coach this great nation of ours, Nigeria.”
