The All Progressives Congress APC has settled for the direct method of voting for its Ondo state Governorship Primary Election slated for April 20.

This was as it emerged that the party may have raked in about N720 million from the sales of forms for the exercise.

At the close of work on Wednesday which was the deadline for the purchase of the forms, no fewer than 16 aspirants picked the Nomination and Expression of Interest forms ahead of the April 20 party’s governorship primary election.

About 14 male aspirants picked the forms for N50 million each while two female contenders paid N10 million each for the expression of interest form, following the decision of the party to grant some concessions to female aspirants and persons with disabilities who were exempted from paying the N40 million fee for nomination forms.

On the mode of the primary, it was gathered that the Abdullahi Ganduje-led National Working Committee NWC had written to notify the Independent National Electoral Commission.
