Chairman of the APC Presidential Screening Committee, Chief John Oyegun has disclosed that his committee did not screen the former President Goodluck Jonathan.
When asked, Oyegun said “I’m not aware he was screened.”
He disclosed that the 10 aspirants who could not scale through the screening hurdles were men of high personality but added that to lead a country like Nigeria goes beyond that.
He said to qualify to lead Nigeria one’s character, contribution to the development of both the party and country, integrity, and national acceptance are considered.
