Ashley Stephanie set for Cameroun musical tour

Nigeria-based Cameroun-born fast rising music act, Ashley Stephanie, may have come to terms with the time-worn adage: “Charity begins at home,” as she has concluded plans to take the Cameroonian music scene by storm to make an impact she hopes will redefine music in the country and by extension, put it on the world map.
Speaking on how she intends to work out her plans and why she feels she’s up to the task, she explains, “A lot has already been done in terms of making the Cameroonian music and entertainment industry more acceptable by other artistes, but my years of experience from Europe as the only black member and lead singer of the defunct group, The Spanish Girls, and all my involvement in a lot of concerts and projects across the African music scene, will definitely contribute in making the move a success.”
The show, put together by Diamond and Pearls Empire, will take place in cities such as Yaounde, Douala, Buea, Bertoua, Kribi, Garoua, Ngoundere, Bamenda and Limbe.
Meanwhile, Stephanie has a musical piece she’s currently promoting, and hopes to be part of the songs with which she will express herself during her forthcoming musical tour. The track, Ijo Alert, was produced by Selebobo, who also featured in it. She also has another song, ‘Hold Me’, which will be available very soon.
