Atiku leads delegation to pay homage to Lamido

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, during the week, led a delegation of some esteemed personalities, including the governor of the state, Ahmadu Fintiri, to partake in the Eid festivities and celebrations in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State

The focal point of their visit was to pay Eid-Al-Fitr homage to the Lamido of Adamawa, Muhammadu Barkindo.

Adorned in resplendent traditional garb, the guests made a striking entrance at the palace of the Lamido amidst a flurry of paparazzi capturing the moment.

Accompanied by security personnel, the guests were serenaded with melodious tunes from local musicians, setting a harmonious tone for the occasion.

One of the highlights of the gathering was when all the attendees, including the Lamido, stood in unison to recite the national anthem.

Led by Atiku, who also has the chieftaincy titles of Turaki of Adamawa, Waziri of Adamawa, the delegation paid their respects to the monarch and offered heartfelt prayers for enduring peace, unity, harmony, and prosperity in the kingdom, the state, and the nation as a whole.

Adding to the richness of the celebration were captivating traditional performances that captivated the audience.

Gestures of respect were also conveyed to the monarch through gifts.
