Bagudu leads APC 61 member Campaign Council to Ekiti

Governor Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State will lead a 61 member Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to Ekiti State to campaign for the Party’s candidate Biodun Oyebanji in the June 18 gubernatorial election.

Other bigwigs of the party listed in the Council include serving and former governors, senators, House of Representatives members and ministers.

They are governors Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State, Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, Simon Lalong of Plateau State, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state and Ben Ayade of Cross River State.

Others are Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, former governor of Lagos State and Minister of Works, Babatunde Fashola and pioneer civilian governor of Ekiti State and Minister of Trade and Investment, Adeniyi Adebayo.

The statement signed by the National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Mohammed Argungu, indicates that the Council will be inaugurated on Monday, May 23 by the Party’s National Chairman, Sen Abdullahi Adamu at the Buhari House National Secretariat in Abuja.
