Nigerians have been asked to blame two All Progressives Congress presidential aspirants, Bola Tinubu and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, if the north retains power in 2023.

Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, made the remark while reacting to the emergence of Atiku Abubakar as the People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate.

Adeyanju described Tinubu and Osinbajo as power hungry people.

In a series of tweets on Sunday, the Abuja-based lawyer said Osinbajo and Tinubu started the idea of anybody and any zone can produce Nigeria’s president.

Adeyanju also said Yorubas supporting Osinbajo and Tinubu should be blamed if a Northerner retains power.

He wrote, “Blame these two power hungry people for power staying in the North. They started this idea of everyone from anywhere can run for president when we all know power should go to the South East.”

“Also blame the Yoruba people supporting them when their son is just finishing eight years as Vice President.”
