GOVERNOR Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State has lost his father, Chief Arthur Okorie Okowa.
The senior Okowa died in the early hours of Thursday at Asaba, after a brief illness, THE POINT learnt.
He was aged 88.
The late Arthur Okorie, who hailed from Owa-Alero, Ika North East Local Government Area of the state, was, until his death, the Okpara-Uku of Owa-Alero.
The family had yet to issue an official statement on his death as of the time of filing this report.
