Unknown gunmen have abducted a businesswoman, Adetutu Abisoye Alatishe, in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

The Point gathered that she was kidnapped on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at about 6.30pm; near Ijebu Muslim College (around Lagos Park), while returning from her poultry farm.

A source close to the victim told our correspondent that the kidnappers laid ambush for her, while driving behind her husband in her Totoyota Highlander, EKY 636 DZ.

“Her husband drove into the compound and was expecting her to come in when they started hearing gunshots. I think she struggled with them, because the side mirror of her car was broken. They also escaped with the vehicle,” the source said.

The source said the victim was once a car dealer, saying that the kidnappers were yet to reach out to the family members.

When The Point contacted the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Abimbola Oyeyemi, he simply said, “Yes, I am aware,” but gave no further details.
