THE Head of Operations at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Mohammed Umar, has been appointed acting chairman of the anti-graft agency.
Umar, a Deputy Commissioner of Police, was the next in line to the suspended Acting Chairman of the Commission, Ibrahim Magu.
As at the time of filing this report, Magu’s fate had yet to be decided as the Presidential panel continued its sitting in Abuja.
