PROFESSOR George Obiozor has emerged President General of the Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo.
Obiozor enjoyed the support of key Igbo leaders, including the Chairman of the South East Governors’ Forum, Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State, in the election, which held on Sunday, at Dan Anyim stadium, Owerri, the Imo state capital.
He is a former Nigerian Ambassador to the United States, Israel and Cyprus.
