The African soccer governing body has announced the stadiums that have been accepted for the forthcoming Champions League and Confederation Cup Preliminary Rounds.
For Nigeria representatives in CAF Inter club next season, they will only have to use one Stadium, the Nest of Champions in Uyo as it was the only Stadium approved for the 1st and 2nd round of CAFCL/CAFCC preliminary stage in Nigeria.
However, the decision could favour Enugu Rangers in the CAF Champions League as their Comoros opponent, Zilimadjou will have to look for another Stadium outside the country for their home game.
Similarly, El Kanemi Warriors who will represent Nigeria in the CAF Confederation Cup will also play Dadje of Benin Republic outside the country as all Stadium the Beninoise club presented were not approved by CAF.
Enyimba who were handed a widecard in the first preliminary round will not also play in Aba because the Enyimba Stadium did not meet the standard.
