There was confusion in Iware, Ardo Kola Local Government Area of Taraba State as an explosion rocked a local drinking joint on Tuesday evening.
It was gathered that a suspected bomber was accompanied by another person who disguised as a customer.
Report had it that the explosive, which was hidden in a black polythene bag, was dropped at the drinking spot by the suspected bomber.
An eyewitness stated that “The two men came to the drinking spot as if they wanted to buy the local beer.
“After they were served, the one holding the bag containing the bomb dropped his beer and the polythene bag and left.
“The accomplice said he was going to look for his friend and would come back.
“After he had left, the bomb exploded and many people were injured while some were killed.”
Confirming the incident, the spokesman of Taraba State Police Command was quoted as saying that three persons were killed while 19 others were injured.
It was gathered that one of the suspects was nabbed and killed by an angry mob.
