“You (defendant) did obtain the sum of N8, 650,000 only through your Guaranty Trust Bank account number 0049277642 with promise to sell one of your tipper trucks to one Afolabi Rauf, a pretense you know to be false and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 1 (1)a(b) and punishable under Sub-section 3 of the Advance Fee Fraud and Other Related Offences Act, 2009.

“You, Folorunsho Olowookere, and others at large, on the same year and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District did steal the sum of N8,650,000 only property of one Afolabi Rauf and thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 383 and punishable under Section 390(9) of the Criminal Code, Cap 34, Volume II, Laws of Osun, 2002.”

The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
